Fargo Angels Win PeeWee B1 Championship (3-06)
The Fargo Angels won the state champinship with a 5-4 victory over the Grand Forks Sun Kings in the State PeeWee B1 Tournament held in Bottineau over the weekend. The game was close all the way in a tight defensive battle, that never saw the Sun Kings lead, but always nipping at the heels of the Angels.
The game was fast-paced and hard-hitting, as evidenced by two Sun King players leaving the game on stretchers and two Angels players being called for game misconducts. |

Richland Rangers and Grand Forks Sugar Kings were eliminated in consolation semi-finals on Saturday.

2006 PeeWee B1 State Hockey Tourn Gets Underway Today (3-03-06)
More than 500 people are expected to descend on Bottineau today as 12 teams come to town to play out 21 hockey games over the course of the weekend. Today's schedule faces off at 8:00 am when the number two team from the NE, the Mayville-Portland Ice Dawgs take on the number 4 team from the southeast, the Fargo Flyers Black. Scroll down the page for a complete schedule of today's eight preliminary round games.

The Bottineau Community Arena is a few blocks north of ND Highway #5.
The arena is just east of the grain elevator which can easily be seen all over town.
From Hiway 5, turn N. on Main Street. Turn R at 1st Lutheran Church.
The arena is 2 blocks E and across the railroad tracks.
Alternatively, find Railroad Avenue off Hiway 5 on the east side of Bottineau.
Railroad Avenue is immediately to the east of the railroad tracks.
Turn north onto RR Ave. Go a few blocks until you are in front of the arena.
