Bantams Prevail in Deloraine (2-23-07)

The Bottineau Bantam Hockey Team remained alive in the Canadian league playoffs as they defeated the Deloraine Bantams 3-1 Thursday evening in Deloraine in their second game of a best-of-three series. Everyone seemed to agree this was one of the best efforts by the Bottineau Bantams all season. Deloraine escaped a come-from-behind effort by the Braves Tuesday in Bottineau as Deloraine won the first game 4-3. Deloraine led by a reported 4-1 going into the third period.

The Bottineau Bantams finish the series Saturday night in Deloraine to determine who advances in the playoffs. The Bantams also have a game tonight (Friday) in Bottineau in an exhibition match vs. Rugby.

Bantams 8, Bismarck 1 (12-17-06)

The Bottineau Bantams had little trouble disposing with the Bismarck Bantam team, breaking out to a 4-0 lead after the first period, skating to a 6-1 lead after two, and adding two more goals in the final period, to earn a 8-1 victory. (more to follow.)
